Privacy policy

Last updated 21 August 2026

Draft. Not yet binding.

This document is published early so it can be read and checked. It does not name the registered entity behind sianhalfway, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Everything it cannot state yet is marked in the text below rather than filled in with something plausible.

Who this is from

sianhalfway builds apps for the software marketplaces that operations teams already work in. This policy covers this website, the one form on it, and our first app once it is available to install.

Not published yet

sianhalfway is a trading name. The registered entity behind it, its registration number and its registered address are not published on this site, so this document does not yet name the company legally responsible for the data it describes. The practical effect is that you are being asked to trust an operator you cannot identify, which is a fair reason to send us nothing until that changes. The people who run this site handle what the form collects, and we would rather write that plainly than imply a company we have not named.

We operate from Singapore and expect to be held to the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. This document has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it does not state a lawful basis for processing, because that position has not been taken yet.

What the form collects

There is one form on this site. It asks for three things: your work email, your company, and which of two things you are after, either early access to the app or a conversation about a custom app.

It asks for nothing else. There is no name field, no phone number, no team size and no message box. Anything further we need, we ask for in the reply.

We also record the moment you submitted it and the IP address the submission came from. Both are used to rate limit the form and to blunt scripted spam, and neither is used to profile you.

The endpoint behind the form will accept a name or a longer message if one is sent to it, and we keep whatever is sent. No field on this site asks you for either.

What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking scripts and no advertising tags. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The typefaces are served from this domain rather than fetched from a font host, so reading a page here does not tell a third party that you read it.

Where a submission goes

A submission is delivered to us one of two ways, depending on how the site is configured at the time. It is either posted to an endpoint we have set up to receive it, or sent to us as an email through a mail delivery service.

Either way it reaches a person here, and either way at least one service we did not build handles the message on the way.

Not published yet

We have not published which services those are, where they store what passes through them, or what contractual protections apply when that is outside Singapore. Until we do, treat the list of parties who touch your submission as undisclosed rather than as empty.

What we can say plainly is what we do not do with it. We do not sell it. We do not add it to a marketing list, and we do not pass it to anyone to use for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Not published yet

We have not set or published a retention period for form submissions. This document therefore makes no promise about how long we hold them. We would rather say that than print a period nobody has decided.

You can ask us to delete your submission, and we will delete it from the systems we control. It helps to send the request from the address you used, because that address is the only thing we can find a submission by.

Not published yet

There is no database behind this form and no search over past submissions. A submission arrives as a message, so a deletion is somebody here finding that message and removing it, rather than a lookup in a system built for it. We cannot promise that no copy survives in a backup held by a service that carried the message, for the same reason we have not published which services those are.

The app

Our first app is not released. This section describes what it will do, not what it is doing, and we will date this page again when that changes.

It runs in your own browser session, signed in as yourself, and it stays idle until you press the control on the page you already have open. It reads that page and nothing else.

It then checks your CRM for a record that already matches, shows you every field before anything is saved, and writes only what you approve. The write goes through the platform API, under the permissions you granted when you installed it.

We hold no database of profiles. Nothing runs on a schedule, and nothing runs while the tab is closed.

How it sources sets out the same mechanism in more detail. The two pages are written to say the same thing, so if you find them disagreeing, tell us, because one of them is wrong.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Write to hello@marge.sg.

Not published yet

We have not published a target response time, and we have not named a data protection officer. Both are outstanding, and neither is something this page should invent on the company’s behalf.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can raise it with the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted between your browser and us. The form is rate limited, and access to submissions is limited to the people who need it.

Not published yet

We publish no encryption specification, no subprocessor list and no certification or audit result, because we hold none of them. That is the same answer How it sources gives, and we would rather be short here than reassuring.

Changes

We update this document as the site and the app change. The date at the top is the version you are reading, and a material change moves it.
